2010? What does it mean? What will it be remembered for?

I just read an article about 2010 being remembered as the year of optimism.

As soon as I read it, I thought to myself: Optimism is great. It's a good start. But I don’t want to be remembered as being optimistic. I’m sure it’s not something a year wants to be remembered as either…

So,

Let's do more than that. Let's do stuff. Crazy stuff. Off the wall, untraditional stuff. Let's be silly. Let’s be imaginative. Let's think big.

Let's make decisions.

Let's motivate other people (especially clients) to make decisions.

Let's accomplish things that we haven't yet dreamed possible. Let's make 2010 a year we can look back on and say: I’m proud of what I started in 2010. I’m proud of what people around me (colleagues, families, clients, their colleagues, their families, their clients and their communities) started in 2010 and I’m proud of what was started in 2010 is doing for 2011 and 2012 and 2020.

But most of all, while we're doing good stuff, let’s have fun.
